i own made the slide show and put in the music and when i write to cd it say cannot detect cd writer

apparently your PC is not recognizing the cd player. Try this. Right click on your "my computer" god on your desktop, click properties. When this opens, click "device manager". it will show adjectives your hardware on your pc. Go down the document till you find your cd player. Now, is there a pallid exclamation point next to the cd player ? If so next there is some character of conflict going on. Try right clicking on the cd player then click "update driver". It will scrabble for the best possible driver and install it automaticlly.

If this doesn't work and if you have a installation disc for the cd player, try reinstalling it. Good luck. Mikie.
The problem seem to be the CD more than anything. Are you sure it is a CD-RW?



Try giving the disc a wipe with a moist soft cloth, working from the core outwards.

Try the whole process again and if stuck- share us which program you are using too.
