shift to start>controlpanel>mouse then set as desired.
resembling speed, and things like that ?

assuming you're running windows XP:

click start the start button

click on "control panel"

If you the top of the control panel say "Pick a Category" then click on "Printers and Other Hardware" and consequently click on "Mouse"

If your control panel is in classic belief then a short time ago click on "Mouse"

You now are competent to work your way through the tab and change your mouse settings however you want.
