hi i own a pair of bose 2 route bookshelf speakers and i droped one of them and the tweeter riped it is a paper tweeter and it riped it still works fine and dont nouns any diffarent but i want to fix it how do i do this? someone told me to out scoch tape on it and after go over the scoch cassette with clear pin polish.

use a cigarette paper..steal one paper and cut a patch . I usually try to use as little rag as I can. But if your actually reattaching the tweeter you might want to fold a full paper length sage in partly, and stick it together. Spread a small amount of Elmer's glue on one side of the entire patch newspaper and stick it over the tear. Lightly pat down beside your fingers the to the edges Let it set a few hours. Works fine.
I know Radio Shack USE to sell a speaker patch paraphernalia or, at least the gum to repair pokes or tears.
