look on MB specs...
You need to know the model of your PC or at most minuscule the model # of the motherboard.
You will need to find out what variety of motherboard you have. Then adjectives you have to do is google the model number to receive detailed specifications.
The model number or name is usually printed within large parcels on the motherboard itself.
Considering you have a P4 I would hold to say it is a well-mannered chance that it does.
Go to hp site look up your system model and look for specs on it. From your specs I suspect you dont own 8x support.
Yes 4x/8x will work
Okay it all depends on the model number. You can usually find deeply of information by just typing the model number into Yahoo! or Google explore. Most of the time it is okay to use an AGP8X in an AGP4X motherboard because they are backwards compatible, but an AGP8X card will merely run at 4X speed on a motherboard that ONLY supports AGP4X.
you can buy a card that will run 4x/8x...
most of the modern 8x cards will automatically run in 4x mode if thats adjectives your mobo can handle.
