relieve, my dvd drive not detected :(?

heyz, i hold panasonic DVR-111D burner and it always work a charm adjectives this time till i installed windows xp professional over vista, so i get rid of vista and using xp, the problem is that my BIOS aint detectin my dvd drive :(, no matter what i do, switch from master to slave,tried adjectives power cables,used adjectives diffrent power cables near master ribbon,used all diffrent power cable with slave ribbon still don't work :'(

well i no u checked the cable check em again to make sure nearby snug and if u smell sum burning smell then that would be fruitless but all disk drives eventualy but also try resseting the bios near the jumper pin
