Hi here!Can anyone make clear to me what's the "WRITE-PROTECTION"in my pen drive?

The problems are i can't craft a new folder,copy and cut.Besides

,i can't even format it.....and delete adjectives the items in my pendrive.

Hi here!Can anyone make clear to me what's the "WRITE-PROTECTION"in my pen drive?

Write protection is exactly that. It protects you from accidentally writing to the drive, erasing, delete or formatting.



It's like a floppy disk which have a little black tab (You know where on earth the holes are? - take a look).



It's function is that when you are not intentionally writing to the disk, you an protect it from chance erasure by turning on the write protection. This will stop you doing anything to the disk BUT you can still copy files FROM the disk onto your computer. You then stipulation to disable the write protection in command to put new content onto the device or erase, format etc.



It is as a rule a tiny little plastic switch somewhere on the device.

most pen drive will enjoy a little switch for you to lock and protect your facts. it is to prevent you from accidently delete your data. lately switch it back to unlock after u will have your problem solve.
