Ok I hold 512mb of memory on my computer and I would like to but another 512 stick so I can enjoy 1gb of memory. The 512mb stick I have in a minute is a Mushkin PC2700 DDR. So my question is, what are the switch points in compatibility checking? Does the other memory stick such as PC-3200 work for my motherboard?
Help, Computer memory (ram) examine?
yes a 3200 would technically work near your computer (make sure it is DDR ram) although 3200 will have un-used narration, as the term is the squad is as strong as the weakest player, so the 3200 will work as a 2700.. so i think your nontoxic, check how many run into ports your comp has though, the minimum is 2 and i regard the max is 4 (not sure though . )
RAM chips do not have compatibility issues! LOL!
PC3200 will be backwards compatible near PC2700, yes.
Others will give you longer answers something like matching the clock speed of your motherboard bus, but the short answer you want is yes, pc3200 will work.
yes a PC-3200 will problably work for your mother
board the bump sticks dont really have to be compatible
for example if the PC-3200 is to much for ur motherboard later
ur motherboard will just use it as a PC-2700 almost anything works so basically get doesn`t matter what and you'll be happy beside the results
belief be it will be way faster !! so simply get the PC-3200 and i can garrantee u that it will work immaculately fine
